Calderstones Partnership NHS Foundation Trust 45 Yearbook 2014 - 2015
“We really enjoyed Saturday, it was very informative, and you had the chance to put your questions forward. ...it is also good that you are having carers’ meetings and we can voice our opinions, which is essential as we are experts by experience.”
The year ended with headlines that the Trust was “one of the best in the country to work in”, following the NHS Staff Survey. The press reported that “major advances in care, communications and training have been welcomed by staff at Calderstones Hospital. According to findings of a recent survey by NHS staff, the Whalley-based hospital recorded some of the best results
in the country, which were noted by the Trust Board.”
• BestscoreforMentalHealthTrusts nationally – staff having well- structured appraisals

Mark Hindle was quoted as saying:
“I am pleased to see the many positives in these results, which show staff recognise that care and engagement are our top priorities. “We’ve also worked hard to ensure we deliver good communications and ensure staff are trained and supported by their managers.”
